Hawthorne Development USA
This project was all about helping a US developer, Hawthorne Development USA, tackle a huge need for affordable housing in Africa. Here’s how it went down:
Finding the Opportunity
A few years back, I connected with Hawthorne because they were looking for real estate projects in Africa.
Through research, we discovered a massive gap between the number of homes people needed and what was available. We worked on searching economically & politically stable country in Africa which must be safe as well. We arrived to Kenya. They faced a shortage of 100,000 houses every year!
Connecting the Dots
I knew there was a chance to make a real difference. We identified Kenyan government parastatal organisation that could be partners and pitched a comprehensive solution.
Hawthorne wouldn't just be builders; they'd be developers bringing innovative construction methods to tackle large-scale projects.
Making it Happen
Hawthorne's experience and cutting-edge technology were a perfect fit for the Kenyan market.
I showed them the potential and how I could help them succeed. They were convinced, and I became their consultant for African projects.
The Result
Hawthorne and a Kenyan government parastatal organisation joined forces to create a JV company focused on building affordable housing. This means more Kenyans will have access to safe and secure places to call home!

Panchmahal Dairy
This project involved helping Panchmahal Dairy, a member cooperative of the famous Amul brand in India, expand their reach to East Africa. Here’s how it unfolded:
The Challenge
Panchmahal Dairy wanted to bring Amul's high-quality dairy products to East Africa, specifically Kenya.
Finding the Right Partner
I identified potential business opportunities in the Kenyan market for Amul products. Leveraging Panchmahal Dairy's connections as a GCMMF union member, I facilitated a meeting between the Chairman of Panchmahal Dairy and the Board members of a Kenyan cooperative dairy.
The Solution
The meeting was a success! Both parties agreed to start a "third-party production" model. This means the Kenyan cooperative will initially manufacture Amul products using Amul's recipes and expertise.
Looking Ahead
This initial partnership allows Amul to test the Kenyan market and see how consumers respond.
If the response is positive, Amul might even set up their own full-fledged milk processing plant in Kenya in the future, offering a wider range of dairy products.
My Role
I played a key role in connecting Panchmahal Dairy with the Kenyan cooperative, facilitating discussions, and helping them navigate the initial steps of this exciting partnership.
This project is a great example of how I can help companies expand into new markets, build strategic partnerships, and bring high-quality products to new consumers.

Advance Diagnostic
This project focused on helping Advance Diagnostics, a Zambia-based company with Indian investors, grow its reach across Africa. Here’s what we accomplished:
The Challenge
Advance Diagnostics wanted to expand their reach and make their services available to more people in Africa.
Our Approach
I identified business development opportunities across the African continent for Advance Diagnostics.
The Result
Thanks to our efforts, Advance Diagnostics recently opened a new diagnostic centre in Congo, replicating their successful Zambian model.
Looking Ahead
We're currently exploring additional territories for Advance Diagnostics to expand their footprint and make a positive impact on healthcare access across Africa.
